Mary Maida
Senior Consultant
Mary resides with her daughter in the quaint little town of Fonthill, nestled within the Niagara Region. She is a graduate of the University of Guelph having obtained a Bachelor of Commerce, Honours Marketing degree and is currently enrolled in the 12-month accredited L.E.A.D.R. Management Training & Development Program through Crestcom International.
Mary is a senior fundraising executive and has worked in a variety of leadership roles during her 20+ year career in non-profit fundraising consulting, honing her skills across a broad range of sectors including social services, environment, education, faith-based, health care and heritage. Her expertise spans a multitude of disciplines such as capital campaigns, annual giving programs, major gift acquisition, targeted appeals, legacy programs, grant writing, research, event/project management and strategic planning.
Mary started her career in 2005, as a consultant with The Dennis Grouping, working on numerous client projects, across all non-profit sectors. The major of her consulting work was focused on fund development programs and capital campaigns. Mary has also worked within the private sector. Most recently prior to rejoining TDG, she was a professional staff fundraiser with Community Living St. Catharines, Hospice Niagara and The Brown Homestead as lead fundraiser, Capital Campaign and Major Gifts Manager and finally Director of Development. TDG is thrilled to welcome Mary back once again in a leadership and mentoring position at the firm to support the team and serve clients with her depth and breadth of knowledge.
Mary is an active volunteer in the community having served for many years on parent council, the Niagara District School Board Special Education Advisory Council (SEAC), the Niagara Health Engagement Network, and most recently she has just been appointed to the Niagara Health Board of Directors as well as the Patient Experience and Quality Committee. Mary is also an active member of the Niagara Fundraiser’s Network.
